If you live with someone for a long period, such as your parents or loved ones, you will know their emotional state just by meeting them. It's because repeated interactions over time allow you to comprehend their emotions.

However, it gets harder when it comes to strangers, like a random person you meet on the street.

Since you've never seen them happy, sad, or anxious, it takes a little effort to recognize their mood, like asking questions or taking time to observing their behavior.

In business, your ability to determine the other partners' mood plays a critical role in entering into discussions and signing deals.

Can you tell if your partners are in a good mood or if they're coming out of an argument with their spouse before meeting you?

Connecting with others requires skills and experience. Emotional intelligence is a skill that you can learn and improve with practice and time.

If the ultimate goal is to live a great life with happiness and fulfillment, you will need the right people. And to find the right people, it takes time and effort.

You will meet different people in your life, each of whom will bring different things to you, both good and bad. These people will appear in different stages of your life, whether you are young, grown up, or even older. At each stage of your life, you will have different goals, dreams, desires, and problems. Therefore, finding the right person who can help you with these things is essential. You don't need a lot of them, but you need the right ones. One person who can support you in your life may not be the person who can do the same thing 5 years from now. Therefore, at a later stage, you will need a different person.

Now, does this mean that you need to look for more people? You're damn right, but not all at once.

When I was young, my group of close friends was different. When I got older, I had different groups of friends, even speaking a completely different language from my mother tongue because I lived overseas. I had to learn to get along with this new group of people.

You still need to surround yourself with people, old and new. And the old ones can become new because people change, especially intelligent ones.

So get out there, meet new people, be friends with the great ones, move on from the bad ones, and build that unbreakable inner circle for yourself.
