Explicit learning
Explicit learning, a form of learning that you’re fully aware of your approach. You instead pay attention to your thinking rather than the ending.
Am I doing it correctly? How can I move forward? How can I get better at this?
You somewhat get lost in your thinking rather than master the concept. You wrestle with the strategy instead of the result. You care nothing about the grade but your understanding.
You’re learning to become fluent in the subject. It isn’t about the grade. It isn’t about right or wrong.
Fluency is the confidence, the relief, the joy to be able to share it with someone.
Grades confirm you, but fluency delights you.
